Description
These stained glass pieces are made in the borders of Cumbria and Scotland exclusively for the National Gallery of Ireland. Using hand drawing, silk screen printing and hand painting with special lacquers, the Winged Heart studio reproduces some of Harry Clarke’s most popular work. Each piece is quality checked, assembled using traditional stained glass lead and hung with aged trace chain. The pieces come in presentation gift boxes and are a delightful addition to any room. This piece takes a detail from The Snow Queen, a illustration from Hans Christian Andersons Fairytales and remodels it into Clarke’s better known medium, stained glass.
